The 2012 Victorian State Titles were held at the Keilor track in Melbourne with close to 200 drivers attending from around Australia. The Keilor club, now in its 25th year, prepared a challenging layout with a high-grip surface and Mother Nature cooperated with warm weather all through the event. After a tough weekend of racing, Team Associated vehicles came out on top in almost every class!

Team Associated/Reedy factory driver Ray Munday was victorious in the 4WD Modified and 2WD SCT classes, TQ'ing both classes with his Reedy battery-powered, JConcepts-equipped B44.1 and SC10 FT. In both classes he was undefeated throughout qualifying, setting the fastest lap times and fastest race times.

In 2WD Mod his B4.1 Worlds Car tied for first with young gun Glen Bonetti, but it was Glen who took his first major win using his B4.1 Worlds Car. Both drivers used the new 12mm Big Bore shocks to tame the bumps and jumps with their buggies. The B4.1 took a clean sweep of the 2WD Mod podium with Jody Denner taking an excellent third place.

The winning didn't stop in the modified classes. Sam Wells from Tasmania showed he will be a force in the future with strong victories in both the 2WD and 4WD Stock classes using his B4.1 Worlds Car and B44.1. Matt West again dominated the 2WD and 4WD 540 classes with his buggies - a class where corner speed counts. In Truck Mod, Leigh Cheeseman (T4.1) finished a close second after winning A2.

Full results and Ray's setups can be found at http://www.keilorrc.org.au/setups.htm A video of the third SCT final can be seen below.

Ray would like to thank Team Associated and Reedy for the fantastic support and products, and congratulations to the Keilor club for putting on a great event!
