B5M Wins Mallee Madness VIII

Mildura RC Car Club in Victoria, Australia, held the second round of the State Series and it was very competitive, with drivers such as Josh Pain (from West Australia) and Matt Griffin entering. Raymond Munday was stoked to win 2WD with his Team Associated RC10B5M in 2WD Mod Buggy.

Practice on Saturday started sticky and then marbled, yet the rear-motor B5 was consistent. The track only started to groove in the last hour of practice and then the mid motor started to get faster. Raymond went against the tide and decided to go with the mid motor; he was glad for his choice as the other drivers stayed rear motor and they hurt a bit as the track grooved further. The layout was generally fast and flowing; yet there were a few sections of long straights after tight corners where the rear motor's performance shined.

Thanks to Raymond Munday for this report.
