The 10th installment of the Neo race, dubbed "NeoX," was held this past weekend in England. Team Associated was in attendance competing in both 1:8 Nitro and Electric Buggy.  Dubbed the "Indoor Worlds," NeoX didn't disappoint and with over 300 total entries, the popularity of the event was at an all-time high.

Team Associated was represented by England's very own Neil Cragg, Australia's Kyle McBride, and American Ryan Cavalieri. All three drivers were campaigning the nitro RC8 prototype buggy, with Cavalieri running the RC8 prototype in eBuggy as well.

As the five rounds of qualifying commenced, all three drivers racked up top results which seeded them in to either the "A" or "B" semi-final. In the first semi, McBride finished in a position that would automatically seed him in to the final. In the second final, Cragg started out front as Cavalieri got shuffled to the back of the field after a bad first lap. As the 20-minute race transpired, Cavalieri continued to charge and eventually took the win with Cragg finishing second, which saw them start first and second for the final.

From the tone, Cavalieri took advantage of his starting position to gap the field. As the pit sequence cycled through over the 45-minute main event, Cavalieri came out of his final stop with more than a 5-second lead on second place and a lap over third. With others just trying to circulate the technical DXR-created track, Cavalieri continued to set lap times as fast as anyone to secure the win for Team Associated. Cragg and McBride also completed the 45-minute main event, finishing 9th and 12th respectively.

Adding to the victory, Cavalieri was also able to finish on the podium in eBuggy with a third-place overall.
