The annual Fall Brawl at the Badlands Supercross R/C Track in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina was held over the weekend of December 5-6. Although Mother Nature decided Saturday wasn't particularly a good race day with a torrential rain storm, the Badlands crew had the track ready for qualifying and racing early Sunday morning. With the challenge of getting 200 racers through two rounds of qualifying and the mains, the fast-paced day still provided some of the best 1:8 off-road racing on the east coast.

When the dust settled it was Team Associated/Reedy driver Ryan Maifield taking the top spot in both of the 1/8th Pro Buggy and 1/8th Pro Truck classes. In Pro Truggy, fellow Team Associated/Reedy drivers Chris Pace and Brandon Melton also finished within the top five and proved to be highly competitive throughout the weekend. Ryan's tire of choice in the 1/8th Truck class was the newly released JConcepts Sevens truck tire in blue compound. They provided the perfect touch for the icy wet track surface. Pro Buggy showcased another dominating performance with Maifield driving his Associated RC8B on JConcepts Double Dee tires taking the victory for the second year in a row and capping off a perfect weekend.

The day concluded just as the sun disappeared and the temperatures fell, finishing off one of the most enjoyable "Brawl" events in recent history. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to the Badlands crew on another spectacular event.
