2WD German Nationals - Jorn Neumann National Champ

The legendary RC10B4 is dominating the German Electric Category since it's release and this year's Nationals was no exception. Both titles - Modified and Stock were conquered in impressive style by Team Associated drivers. But if that were not enough, in the highly competitive Modified class the B4 took the complete podium in a clean 1-2-3 sweep! On top of this, Team Associated had more cars (6) in the A Main than all other manufacturers combined. What more could you say about such a fantastic result? The competition has even more to worry, because the all new B4.1 in "Factory Team" version is ready to launch. The best is even getting better!

This year's 2WD German Nationals was hosted at the AMC Langenfeld club with artificial turf. It was held on July 31 - August 1 with 93 drivers (62 Modified, 31 Stock). On Saturday we held three practice runs for everyone and three qualifiers. On Sunday we held two more qualifiers. The best two out of five count.

Jörn Neumann TQ'd all five rounds of qualifying with his LRP-powered Associated B4. Second was Benni Gröschel and third Marc Pitsch.

A1 racing was held under sunshine and Jörn took the win, followed by Benni and Marc.

For A2 the weather changed drastically to very heavy rain. Jörn's car stopped after one lap. So Benni took the win in front of Marcus Lübke and third went to Christoper Krapp.

For A3 the sun blew away the rainclouds and sat up to watch. Despite the additional track hazard - puddles! - Jörn won, followed by Benni and Marc.
