JR Mitch has been on a roll lately with an impressive string of wins. The AE/Reedy factory driver is headed to Thailand for the 1:8 Nitro Off-Road World Championships this week and is looking to continue his winning streak.

JR first conquered Round 2 of the Super Cup Series at the world-famous Lake Park circuit in Lutz, Florida. Mitch was not happy just winning one class. Instead, he completed the hat trick by winning 2WD Modified, 4WD Modified, and 2WD Modified Short Course with his Reedy-powered Team Associated B4.1, B44.1, and SC10.

A trip back to familiar surroundings at Lake Park for Florida State Series Round 1 for some 1:8 nitro racing showcased JR's versatility as a driver and Team Associated's versatility in its engineering department. Creating one winning platform is a challenge in itself. Creating multiple championship winning platforms in a variety of scales including on- and off-road as well as nitro and electric is an incredible feat!

JR first dominated Pro 1:8 Buggy and Pro 1:8 Truggy qualifying with his Reedy 121 VR-ST-powered RC8B and RC8T. He then went on to win both 30-minute A Mains to grab the early series' points lead. JR was not the only big winner. Jason Ruona grabbed the pole in the Electric 1:8 Buggy class with his Reedy/LRP-powered RC8Be and went on to take the win in the 12-minute main event.

Finally, Halloween weekend featured the 3rd Annual JConcepts Bash. The best electric racers in Florida converged upon Winter Haven, Florida to fight for the coveted title.

JR displayed the excellent handling capabilities of the new B44.1 on the small Winter Haven track. Reedy 40C+ LiPo battery power propelled JR to the pole position and another well-deserved victory.
