Robert Batlle Takes First with his RC8!

The results are in for the Team Associated/Fa-Sol, the first race of the Spanish National Championships held March 2009 in Malaga.

The race was in Alhaurin de la torre in Malaga. The track was really bumpy and dusty at the beginning and the grip was medium. There was one big double jump, two turns with some grip, and one zone of six jumps together, which was the most difficult part of the track.

On Friday the track was really bumpy and dusty and we had a lot of problems setting up our cars. However, on Saturday the dust was gone and traction was better. I finished in third position in qualifying.

In the A main I started in the number two position. I fought with Borja Hernandez during the first 20 minutes until his engine flamed out and I came in first.
