Team Associated's Brian Kinwald Victorious At Shortcourse Showdown Nation Wide Tour Round #1

Having just joined Team Associated not just three weeks ago, Brian Kinwald claims his first victory with his Factory Team SC10 truck.  Organized by Scotty Ernst, the Shortcourse Showdown Nation Wide Tour consists of four rounds with stops all across the country. 

Round 1 was held at R/C Excitement in Fitchburg, MA where Kinwald took his SC10 fresh off his A-Main appearance at the Cactus Classic from the week before and immediately was one of the guys to beat.  As the race weekend progressed, Kinwald worked on his setup and tire package and was ready to do battle in the A-Main event late Sunday afternoon.  Starting from third on the grid, Kinwald quickly made his way to second and stalked top-qualifier Mike Truhe.  A bobble from Truhe allowed Kinwald to sneak by and never look back.  Kinwald cruised his SC10 to the victory over 6 seconds ahead of second place, taking yet another victory for the ever-popular National Champion SC10.
