 October 20, 2011 Event Name: 2011 Battle at the Beach Event Location: Lake Havasu, AZ Event Date(s): October 15, 2011 to October 16, 2011 Sunny Lake Havasu, Arizona, was once again the site for the Battle at the Beach. Over one hundred racers from throughout the Southwest participated in a variety of electric and nitro classes. This race event is always considered to be one of the most enjoyable events to attend, thanks to the laid-back atmosphere and excellent track preparation. Ty Tessmann, driving a Reedy/LRP-powered SC10 4x4, was the man to beat throughout the weekend. After qualifying for the pole position, Ty won the first two main event legs to close the deal and claim another title.
