Hobbytown in Omaha, Nebraska was the setting for this year’s ROAR Region 8 Off-Road event.  There were nearly 150 racers at the newly enclosed HobbyPlex to battle for Midwest bragging rights.  The facility at the HobbyPlex is just amazing, with indoor carpet and dirt along with a full-line hobby shop, which brought in a good amount of retail hobby spectators to a racing event.

Cody Jandrakovic took the 2WD Modified Buggy class -- making fifteen regional wins for Cody over the years!  Cody also TQ'd and finished second in 2WD Modified stadium truck.  "Went to the track with my starting setups and never changed a thing on my vehicles.  Reedy batteries provided tons of power for my LRP brushless systems.  JConcepts tires provided outstanding traction."

Aaron Bahner also had a good weekend for the team, clinching wins in 17.5 Buggy and 17.5 Truck.  “Both my cars were great right from the start of practice. The support and advice from my other teammates gave me an edge on tire selection, setup, and gearing before I even got to the track.”
