Convert your AE .15 pull start engine into non pull start with this new backplate. No need to purchase a new engine! Includes fully-illustrated instructions to complete the conversion. CAUTION: REQUIRES CRITICAL MODIFICATION OF CRANKSHAFT! This backplate requires more parts to complete the conversion.
Tools Needed
- 5/64 in (2 mm) Allen wrench
- Small flat head screwdriver
- Lightweight oil
- Needlenose pliers
- Dremel® and fiberglass wheel
- Ruler
- 400 grit sandpaper
- Engine cleaner
Other parts needed (for flat chassis)
- #7770 non pull start engine mount adapters
- #7610 non pull start flywheel
- #7736 non pull start manifold
- #6928 manifold screws
- #7734 manifold gasket
Fits engines #2900, 2912, 2916, and 2918.
