"What kind of problems do you have with other racers? What steps can you take for the problems?"

I think that attitude is the biggest problem between racers. And it is usually between not so skilled drivers. I don’t think I have really met a sponsored driver with an attitude that made me think less of them.

When we're on the track they like to bump into other cars. I tell them if you keep bumping to other cars you are out of the race.

Bad attitudes. Personally, I try to avoid them.

leaning over the track to drive their car, man they block everybody else's view. Solution, build driver stand at least five feet from track. And do people really think they are going to beat somebody in a main that qualified better then them in the first corner, why do people constantly have to rear end your car in the first turn? Solution, make the starting grid further separated.

Problem racers usually can't drive. So when they start acting up, just blow 'em away on the track!

I get other racers yelling at me because I didn't get to their car super fast when THEY crashed!! I tell them not to crash and I wont have to get their car. The other problem I have is when racers are on their backs, they always seem to keep the throttle pinned. I just look up at them until they relax the throttle finger. ( especially the 1/8th scales!! )

The only problem I seem to have is with other racers lack of enthusiasm when turn marshalling. It really puts a damper on the fun when you don't get a chance to race fairly. When I encounter a problem with the marshals, I remind them after the race to marshal the way they would want to be marshaled.

when you are the leader and "lap traffic" won't let you pass. racers with the name ricky missle

The Problem Unskilled drivers. they piss me off so much when you try to pass and they hit you. possibly taking you out of the race. LET THE LEADER THROUGH the solution? All you unskilled drivers race in the NOVICE class!!!! Æ all the way!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, throttle-happy wreckers are a bit of an issue. At the track I run at (electric off-road), we have a rule about dust covers and marshals getting their fingers run through the pinion/spur gears. Some people don't seem to get that standing on the gas while on your roof isn't going to get you anywhere, especially when a smart marshal holds up his hands :)

None. Seems out Local track has a bunch of great guys that race there. The bunch are always willing to share set-up tips, tools, and the occasional part to keep you racing. Even the "sponsored" guy is helpful and friendly, no attitude.

Sometimes I have problems with people making smart-mouth comments and stuff like that. Other times i have problems with people not taking a hint, or being hack drivers. To deal with insulting people, most of the time you can just ignore them. Eventually it'll get old and they'll stop. I know that sounds like what your mom probably told you, but it works. If you have a problem with a racer out on the track the best thing to do is quietly go and tell them what problems you have with what they're doing and suggestions to improve.

When I come around to lap some drivers, they will get in the way, or not give up me line. Sometimes you have to take it, just run in to them. It makes some people mad, and I just tell them if you are the slower car, get out of the way and both of us will have better lap times.

I hate it when racers yell at the marshals to hurry, it makes me move slower. I tell drivers, don't crash and the marshals won't suck.

I have trouble with racers going faster than me. To fix this problem, I am practicing and trying to go faster than them. Racer 9

Cocky racers that think they are so much faster then everyone else. If your faster, cool, help those who are slower out and then everyone can be fast and racing will be more fun

Problems: lap traffic does no let the leader pass, racers who yell at anyone they can when they get in a crash with you (take the stock class WAAAY to seriously) , and turn marshals who take excessively long or take multiple attempts to flip a car over. Solution: dont be that guy

Intentional bumping and slamming into other racer's cars INTENTIONALLY. There is no reason for it when they can pass safely......

When you are in the lead and someone will try to race you when your trying to pass. Then when you pass them they gun it and tee bone or rear end you.

the only problems I have with other racers is the radio frequency. its becoming a problem where I'm from. So I just bought a Novak fm synthesizer so can have all the channels.

As an experienced driver the thing that I hate the most: a driver that cannot drive so they get the fastest motor money can buy so they can race you down the straits. Then they have a tendency to crash in front of you or into another car, blocking the corner altogether.

If I'm being lapped, I'll let them by BUT if we're racing for the same position, they have to make the pass, not take me out. If I have the line, the "PITT" maneuver is not an option for passing. I will let them know verbally while still on the drivers stand that "hacking" is poor sportsmanship, if that doesn't work I'll turn around on the straight away and hit them head on.

Novice racers turning their radios on in the pits. Since our races are getting bigger, we're going to institute a radio impound.

I hate it when you are racing and there is a guy in front of you and he keeps breaking for a corner way way to early and it causes you to hit them. If they don't like it let the faster car pass you and there will be no conflict. I also hate it when your racing and a marshal is ticked about his race before yours and he takes it out on the race after his.

Guys who can't hold their tongues on the drivers stand. Solution - stand at the far end of the drivers stand, in my case, past the handicapped ramp. If you can't hear them, you won't know to respond. If they continue off the drivers stand, that's a different problem.

1. They are faster than me! 2. Solution: More practice.

Slow drivers do not let me to easily pass them . If I lose too much time , I drive more aggressively . They must forget that I use an AE car !!! Agent Arman from Turkey

although I'm not a really experienced driver. the problems I have is when I am being lapped by another truck and they pass you and crash right in front of you or nobble you on purpose just to get past

I get tired of the "expert" drivers that seem to think they're racing for a million dollars, screaming at the corner marshals and generally making an ass of themselves. Attitude just because they are good at driving a little toy car around a little dirt track. When it's their turn to marshal they lazily marshal the cars (maybe), and play grab-ass with their (also "expert") buddies. I've seen new racers get turned away quickly with this sort of behavior. Not sure what can be done....

The largest problem I have with other racers is their inconsideration for drivers that are multiple laps ahead of them.

I hate when you go up to a guy racing in the same class as you who is faster and ask him questions on his car set up and wont tell you anything to help you out. I just reply don't you want this class to more completive (1/12 spec 19 4 cell) or your just in for the trophy. Good close racing is the best. Dicing in turns battles down the straight that's racing.

Lapped racer need to get out the way for fast guys common sense. No matter where you are on the track. If you don't like paint swapping go play with your hot wheels racing ain't for you. You need to give the line up don't be a jealous road hog.1 tap you don't move 2 still don't move 3 boom get out the way. Watch the real car's NASCAR they hit all the time not out of anger just to say hello I'm knocking and are you going to let me in. A lot of rc racers get so angry like little four year olds when they don't get a toy grow up it's all for fun, people forget this. Let the fast guy pass, stay calm, practice you will get faster, leave turn marshals alone they have to wait for traffic to clear they didn't make you crash. Be happy have fun buy AE that's life.

The guy who is too fast. He can't drive, but he has the fastest car. He'll catch up to me in the straight and knock me into the wall in the turn. This ruined my track record run last week.
