The first time I went out, the wire on my motor came off from taking some high speed impacts against the boards. As I stopped suddenly in the straight-a-way, a car came screaming around the curve and rear-ended my poor little TC-3!! Then another car slammed into the fool that hit me! No damage though.. <whew!>
It could get stolen!! I have a lot of money tied up in 3 cars, and a truck. My RC equipment is worth more than my car that I drive to work.

I was racing at a new track and they planned to knock me, so in the main I was tq and was leading by a lap and a racer jumped the wall and smacked into the side of my truck. when that happened my tranny just stripped everything out and I was done for the day. Now when i look back i understand why there is no track there anymore.
I was having a good couple days running then my front belt stripped out and i was down for the day.
Last Sunday's racing when speedo cut out, servos gears stripped out, batteries dumped, and motor over heated as it was a v hot day, TC3 was ok though, never mind, gives me a chance to buy more new goodies.
I was going 70mph and it crashed

My tc3 is blasting down the straight and all of a sudden, a newbie crosses the track and waamoo!! My outdrives, my a-arms, my servo horn, my shock tower, and my front right wheel got ripped off like cotton candy. P.S. the wheel went rolling across the track with shock still attached. ouch!
the worst thing that happened to my rc car was when i gave it full throttle and the 2speed primary gear stripped and it was revving in place without moving.

I just got my first 1/8 scale off road buggy, I could not wait to get it running, When I did get running, and put it on the road in front of my local hobby shop, it took off and ran right in to a curb and bent the chassis and the front dogbone. I did not even get to drive it before I had to fix it. It was not the end of the world, but it did suck.
With my brother at the controls and running without the body it wedged under my week old BMW, we were worried that the hot nitro engine would put a hole in the plastic gas tank starting a fireball. Luckily I found a broom to remove it quickly.
I was running my rc10gt in a parking lot going around the light post and over the speed bumps when I got a little surprise. I guess with the noise of the engine I had never heard it coming. I accidentally ran my rc10gt into a street sweeper. I had to follow the guy across town (Houston) to be able to dig through the trash to retrieve my truck which by then had cracked the chassis and had several suspension parts either broken or missing. I was able to salvage the electronics.

The worst thing that happened to my t-maxx was when I was jumping a ramp and the linkage got rapped around the spur gear forcing the throttle open. It only blew the clutch and almost my engine revving that high. Matt
hmm, I've got two of those. I got the switch harness wire caught under my T3's battery, and the battery bar cut the wire and made a BIG short. Melted half the circuit board to nothing and made a $.25-size scorch mark on my door (smoke, flames, scary!). Second would have to be five days from entering my E-Maxx in the school talent show. My crowning feat would be a front flip off a fairly small ramp. The first time I tried it, landed perfectly on flat ground. Second time went 3/4 'round and snapped the rear tower mounts off the bulkheads, bent two shocks at about 45deg angles and blew the cap off a third. Spent all rest of the week fixing to get a standing ovation from my classmates, but sure had me worried! -TheMissile

I was running my used b2 buggy and a kid from down the street was riding his bike. He ran over the front end and just kept going as if nothing ever happened I was so mad. All that broke was a few e-clips and the pin fell out so my left front a-arm was dragging across the ground. luckily I found the six dollar pin in the street. mike
I was driving my tc3 in my street. when i took it by the curb there was some sand, the tires lost traction causing it to jump the curb and smash into my mail box. The bumper cracked and some front suspension parts broke completely in half the crash cost me about $45.00
my worst acceding was having my RC10T3 being crushed literally by a T-MAXX
so far ..... after 3 days owning it i clipped a picnic bench and broke the left rear "A" arm
Had my RC300 running in the parking lot at top speed. Hit a little stone and the car went airborne and tumbled at least 5 times over, before it came to a stop upside down. Scratched up my engine. But car still runs fine.
I drove my T-Maxx into a swimming pool at my brother's wedding. I was showing off for the little kids and got too near the edge I guess. I was in a tuxedo and this was before we had taken pictures so I had to decide Do I dive six feet under water where my beautiful truck is churning cloudily or do I save myself for pictures? I dove! My mother became insanely angry at me and grounded me from my Maxx for two weeks!

I just bought a new chassis for my 10L and me and my dad had similar paint jobs but mine had a purple front ...and we started a on the tone...and I said wow my car is fast and about that time you hear a "BANG"...my dad said who was that ...I said I don't know I am in the lead ...he said no I am in the lead ...I looked and the turn marshal was bring my car to me in 2 pieces ...that was a bad day...kevin

10L3 upgrades using new chassis. Racing 6cell mod radio glitched, went full throttle into turn 3 wall. Had to buy new car, receiver, servo and other parts. Most expensive damage ever.

The worst thing that has has happened to my my electric TC3 was when I received a glitch and my car went full throttle down the straight away into the wall at Finishline Raceway in Hurst, TX. My SR speed control was thrown from my car and my Ko-Propo receiver was cracked in half. My graphite chassis split down the middle and both my front arms and hub carriers were smashed. My diffs locked and shocks busted. My Hitec steering servo was stripped from the car. The main drive shaft bent and my 3000 NiMH batteries became un-soldered, tossing them all over the track. I ended up buying a brand new factory team kit.
Throttle servo got stuck wide open in my EB-4 pro while I was testing it in my driveway. Flew past me, broke through my wooden fence and into the neighbors yard. Hit some lawn chairs and pulled them into their pool.

Me and my fiend were racing our nitro Gx1 and both are cars kind of went head on into each other!! Of course mine came out worst. the front axle split straight in half. BAD!!! Dave
I was running my T3 RTR through some serious rocky terrain. I had put a D4 motor on it with super low gearing for monster torque. The T3 shot over a BIG rock and landed in a "cliff" 15 feet down nose-first. The shocks were cracked, the bulkhead was ruined, both front arms were in pieces. Not a pretty sight. This gave me an excuse to get an aluminum bulkhead and some threaded shocks anyway, so who cares? It looks sweet now.

I was just playing around with my buggy in a big field, when all of a sudden I lost sight of it. I went looking for it, but it was nowhere to be found. All that i saw in that area was a drainage pipe. Guess where it was, .... down in the storm drainage pipe. Everything in it electronically was ruined, one thing was my brand new XXtra speed control. =(

I have 2 accidents. One, I was flying full speed down my sidewalk to jump the curb. Then, I turned my head as my RC10 went by me and my neighbor left out his trash can. Of course I was already airborne and smacked into it. Not that much damage. Secondly, I hit the curb with the right rear tire. The axle pin became loose. As the axle turned, the pin ripped apart the right rear a-arm. Tire became unconnected and it rolled. And rolled. And rolled. Note: Put heat-shrinking wrap around all axle pins so it won't come out.
I was playing in front of my house and got went to shoot towards the road and the throttle got stuck, well needless to say had some rear end damage (rear suspension arm hinge got pulled off, and i had to replace it, a few seconds slower and it would have hit the engine

Was my first race out with my RC10GT County Fair race, have the lead pulling away hit the triples on the BS and loose my ft plastic nuts and plow a rock with the front Axle, Replaced parts from my old RC10T got it ready for the mains, Once again i have the lead and same Triple, WAM broke the rear bulkhead. On a secondary note ever since that race the truck has been good to me, just a bad start I guess!

I was on the track practicing for first heat, there was a couple 1/8 scale buggies on track also, one of them was coming up on me so I laid over for him to pass, (being respectful for a faster car you know) and he NAILED me. Not on purpose I'm sure, but I noticed no remorse from him! Last year I was racing my Factory Team B3 on a carpet oval at a race in Oshkosh, WI and had a bad accident. My steering servo locked in the straight-ahead position just as I applied full power to the Monster Horsepower Stock motor coming out of the corner. I flew off of the track, went through six folding chairs, knocked over three tool boxes, hit four spectators, and finally hit the cinderblock wall. This cracked both RPM A-arms, bent three of the four front hinge pins, bent one shock shaft, popped the cap off of the other one, split the shock tower, broke two turnbuckles, and cracked the chassis. Not to be outdone, a soda fell off of one of the tables that I hit and shorted out my ESC.
I once had a Losi buggy that i took to a skate park I was doing some real good jumps until it went a bit too high landed on the 2 left wheels snapping 2 left wishbones 2 hub carriers and shredding my servo and snapping a turnbuckle

I have two. I had an OFNA ultra worlds 2 GT that I picked up on eBay. knowing nothing about nitro engines I started it... the car went screaming off the starter box and into a field where it stopped because the throttle linkage got stuck in the main gear... with the engine still going full throttle. very noisy. traded it for my tmaxx. upgraded it a year later for about 300 to the 2.5 took that to the local middle school. they had a built in dumpster that goes into a hill. so I tried jumping it. first time, didn't make it, set up the car again, figured I would take some boxes out of the dumpster in case I didn't make it to put in front of the 6x6 wood surrounding the hill. so I hit it here I didn't put the boxes. did a front flip, smashed the truck into the wood of the built in thing. shattered engine head, cracked case, fuel tank completely broken and I broke the rear bulkheads. fun stuff, wanna try it again! -dave

To things True Story I was driving my xxx-nt in a open parking lot. My dad was driving his TC3 on a little road course he maid about 100 yards away from me. We I got the truck up to top speed(40 mph) and didn't see him. Well I ran into his FOOT and BROKE HIS ANKLE. I felt horrible. Now he has recovered. Too bad I didn't get it on camera. I could have put it on the XXX main video! second, don't drive your L3 with 1/4 scale stock cars. enough said
The first day I bought my car I crashed it full speed into a curb. The whole front end came off adn I lost parts and pieces. But it didn't cost much money to fix

I was riding my max outside one day a fine day and I was running it with my nephew and he was down about oh thirty feet frun me I guess when all of a sudden my wife pulls up and mashes my Maxx!!!
my GT stood up on the rear tires ,a rock cut my batt. straps the pack fell out, and it was set for WFO straight forward! "with no fail safe installed" it slammed the flat side of a 15 inch curb after 85 ft of mind numbing uncontrollable speed. the fuel tank top separated and flew through the driver side window. the rear tires were in the middle of the body, the chassis looked like a horseshoe!! it burnt me 179.00 to repair it!!
I jumped my car, it landed right on the front wheel and then it exploded.
The worst thing that happened to my R/C car, a T-Maxx 2.5, is my friend cross-threaded the glow-plug gasket and tiny pieces of metal fell into the motor and then HE RAN IT! The brand-new 2.5 motor was done. He will never use my car again!

My friend and I were racing in a parking lot behind an Albertsons Supermarket. Some lady speeds through the there and runs right over my nitro 10L (Dynamite conversion kit)...She didn't even stop or say sorry. She had shoplifted a clothing store and was running from the police. Hey I was able to give the police a description of the suspect!! haha Oh well. Needless to say, after investing another $200.00, the car has never run the same. back when I was a newbie I broke in my first nitro car (duratrash max st) with airplane fuel...no wonder it ran so bad.
My servo cover on my t3 cracked
probably when me and my friend made a course and we were racing on the street and I was using the body that I like and I never wanted to use it but I'm like "what's the worst that can happen" then when we were racing I was in the lead then I got pushed sideways and flipped 360 degrees and still help the lead going into the corner and when the race was over i check the car and their wasn't even a scratch on it thank goodness

running my E MAXX across a footbridge with 1 plank missing about 2 feet from the end, my truck ended up going in the drink, fully submerged, rescued, put on the bank for a second, and then with a mind of its own did a complete u turn and back in the creek again for a second swim, result,1 blown servo, very very lucky.
I hit a ramp the wrong and when I landed, my T3 did 3 cartwheels, 2 backflips and 2 barrel rolls. I cracked my ESC in half, striped a servo gear and popped a rod end. Ohhhhhhooo.....
