Why: When racing, I want the car to react as quickly as possible, so bearings vs the kit bushings free up the steering a lot. The springs speak for themselves regarding differing track conditions require different setups. Also, I've found that one-way diffs tend to give me that edge in the corners at most tracks.

Kit or RTR: well, first i would buy a speed control, motor, then battery.
Accessory: If you want to beef it up a bit i would suggest some lightweight diffs, and maybe some springs, CVD's and other factory team products.
Why: Because if you wanna go fast and have fun?, Factory team is the way to go.

I just think that when u buy a new car, the first thing that you'll notice is that u might have just spent all the money you've been saving. So, u won't be able to but anything major like a new engine. Tires can be quite inexpensive, and they provide for different racing/experimenting runs. The traction can change the way your car performs, so that'll be my first choice besides more nitro fuel!

Why: If you read any of the previous questions than you know that everyone talks about not wasting money on the "cool" hop-ups. All you need on a car is good tires and Titanium turnbuckles. Unless something breaks, stick to your stock parts. Also, don't get obsessed with the weight of your car. Last week a racer won at my track with a car that was 100 grams over the min. Set realistic goals when racing. If you can't win every week don't try. Try to bet one person who was better than you the week before. Soon you will be to front runner. If you do buy hop-ups or have the Factory Team TC3, don't use the Aluminum battery brace. Trade it for the plastic one. With the aluminum one your center of gravity will be raised. Sell your Al. one to the buy with all the "bling".
