1999 Question of the Week:
"What's the
best R/C gift you've ever gotten?
What was the occasion of your gift?"
The best R/C gift was not a car or truck, or even equipment, but the first time my dad took me to race. He knows almost absolutely about R/C and he drove me an hour to the nearest track. It was so much fun and I have been doing it ever since now that there is a track closer now.
Nitro RS4 RAcer. X-mas
Either my XX4 (sorry AE, it's your fault for not having a 4-wheel) or my KO Propo Mars
never gotten a rc gift. by the way, can you either sponsor dave s. or tell these friends and "fans" to shut up!? i, for one, am getting sick of hearing about it. do you agree, or am i just getting old? thank you. [Associated responds: Well, in this selfish world I am glad to see people wanting to return the favor for those whose labor has meant so much to them. This may be the inappropriate forum for it, but maybe it will cause other racers to think of those who have helped them, and how they can reciprocate.]
The gift was an RC10 DS, the occasion was getting straight A's on a report card.
Last Christmas I received a HPI RS4 Sedan . I've raced it almost every weekend since!

looking forward to my new B3 coming this March 15-20
Dgnball
my very first rc10gt, occasion is my b-day,
There have been so many. I guess the best would have to be the Turbo-Thirty and the 3PDF my "Female Companion" got me last Christmas. I wanted the radio, but I would never buy a T-30 for myself. I think she's the one.~E
The best gift I ever got was a Jrx-T used set up. That my dad got me for X-mas That got me started racing. The main reason it was so cool was I researched for 2 years before jumping in. My dad saw that I was not going to stop liking it and it still is going today 7 years later. KOMO
Great question! hands down, it would have to be the blackfoot my mom bought for me that enabled me to stay in the sport, race and learn, and eventually move up to premium equipment ( that being a.e. products). keep up the good work!.
I Got a b3 conversion kit for Christmas
an RC10gt for Christmas
A titian tech brace set for my rc10 gt for Christmas.
My first love my RC10B3 it is my first real car, i had to mow the lawn all summer and here in Texas we have long summers
A new set of motor brushes and a spur gear.
I won the race bucks because the other guy broke.
A Tamiya Lunchbox for Christmas when I was 5. That's what got me into R/C.
My RC10T3 for Christmas.
The best r/c gift i have ever received was my kinwald edition xxcr. It handles like a dream and can really clean up the track!! I got it on Christmas '98.
the best gift i ever got was my first RC10L graphite. I was at the track racing that night and have not let up since. i've gone through 3 RC10Ls and a T3 but that first car was still the most exciting gift.
RC10T3, occasion Christmas the present was good because now I had the chance to stay up with the crowd. And maybe win about 10 out of 11 races!!!!!!!!
I Got a nice 12-turn triple, a microspeed dimond 2 speed control and a sanyo-2000 and that was only Christmas!!
For Christmas I received a Tamiya Stadium Blitzer and Traxis radio with an esc. This was my first R/C car (I'm 21 yrs old), which got me into the sport. From there on I bought a RC 10GT and love it.
A can of brake cleaner for my GT. This stuff is liquid gold for the tub chassis. How about a decked plate chassis from the good old factory team?
New radio and esc for my rc10l3 oval. Received it for Christmas 98.
Recently I received a free RC10 B3 Team Kit. How you ask? I saved a rich lady from a burning building. Then to get the electronics I ran back in and got her microwave, unharmed. Is it any easier?
my novak tempest. it was Christmas and that was all i needed to get my rc10t running again
