What was your weirdest R/C moment?
pulling 40 hard earned dollars out of my pocket for a set of tires..................that was hella weird!!!!!!!!!!!!
finding my futaba pcm radio on i-5 freeway smashed into about 300 pieces of small plastic and circuit board!
My weirdest R/C moment was, and continues to be, coming to this site, but seeing no mention of your recent ROAR National Champion oval racers...odd =)
When i bought my POS Traxxas Rustler I knew nothing about RC that's why i bought a Traxxas I got it some I ran it the first 15 seconds and full speed hit the side of the my garage and ripped the whole side of my car off front and rear Ar Arms and flung my steering serve 20 feet away.. oh and today my Pinion Gear came off my HPI and hit a car window and Broke it .. was a 10Turn Single :) WOOPS

I had just started racing, and made it into the A-main in a relatively big race. I was nervous and was periodically stuffing the pipe, and soon was being lapped. I pulled over and let the first place truck by, but when the second place truck came up on me, I had a serious glitch problem occur and promptly took him out. That was the first time I'd ever had that problem, and haven't had one since. It was weird because my battery voltage in the transmitter was up and all the radios were in impound. It was also very depressing as it made Mr. second place quite angry and made my driving even worse.
I really don't have any, except when I found out how fast soldering irons go through a pair of wind breaker
This just happened Saturday night. At our track, there's a medium-size roller leading onto the front straight. A local racer hit it wrong and flew off to the left. He grazed the wall, and landed back on the track, the car completely unsettled. (Brand X 4WD) The guy ended up winning the race. Very weird to see a car "bounce" off a concrete wall, and make it look good!
That would be when a losi double-xt cr got run over by a traxxas then dusted the losi by popping a wheely all the way down the track it was COOL!
driving my tamia grasshopper and having it shatter on-road when i didn't even hit a bump or anything
I was racing at the track. A guy hacked me and I yelled [expletive] out loud. All of the racers started cracking up. They crashed their cars and I went on to finish with the tq and 1st place.
Had to [go to the bathroom] 10 minutes into a 45 minute main...that was a long race!
When I thought I was in the lead but I was in 4th place the whole time!
The time I did a 360 and landed it. The others are when I did a back flip and landed it
when i ran in to the wall and my arm on my r/c10t3 broke
I think its the fact that I won second place in our tracks point series only because I showed up at every race. I only made it into the A-main twice! Kelly . krkroupa
Putting a 10turn quad in my Traxxas Rustler, going full speed down the road for about 30 yards, crashing into a water meter, bouncing back about 10 feet, and driving off again with nothing broken. -SteveB
My car got hit over a table top and did a frontflip and a 360, it landed it and i raced on. The other car however fell on its lid.
When I was running my B2 and it cartwheels 100ft. down my hill.
I had just built my T3 truck. I was running it and the left rear shock just separated from the cap.
When I almost knocked a kid out with my pan car. I was practicing at a local track, and a woman had her kid there, watching a bunch of us go at it. Me and a friend got a little racey, and he sent me flying toward the turn one wall. I hit the wall really hard. Another inch and the car would have gone over the wall, and pasted the little kid standing right up against it. His mom wasn't too happy with us. OH WELL!!
I was driving my friends buggy, not a B3, when all of a sudden it turned on its own and crashed into the sidewalk, popped it and kept going into the garage where it stopped and kept trying to take down my moms laundry sacks.
I was at a parking lot race. The beginner touring drivers were on the stand. Having had a TA-02 touring car, I knew of their characteristic rear camber link lossage. The screw that holds the link in backs out after the hole has been loosened. When the last place novice went around the corner, I noticed that his rear wheel did not spin. I made a comment something along the lines of "watch his wheel fold over" and everyone around me got freaked out when it happened on the very next turn.
Being bombed by rocks at E-town last week. People were diving for cover. In the end, $5,500 worth of damage was done! All that from one SUV induced donut...
when i hit a passing rabbit as it passed across the straight. I was surprised at how fast they can run after being launched 3ft in the air and landing on the other side of the track.
