When you say that it goes into neutral are you losing radio signal or

Comments: i have a nitro tc3, when i start it up the wheel start to spin out of
control in neutral seems like i just press down on full throttle, but im no
where near the controllers. what's wrong? how im i suppose to set it to where it
doesn't spin but stay in neutral.
Your fuel mixture is not set right or the idle adjustment is set wrong
as well. The idle adjustment should be set so you only have a 1mm gap when
looking down the barrel of the carb.

understand that anything 1/8 scale is the trend right now, and that will receive
the most attention. I currently race the Kyosho ST-RR and the GT2. My point in
posting the message the other day was to make it known that some guys still do
like gas truck and there is nothing wrong with it. If anything, I think it helps
to race a gas truck due to the skills set that it requires in order to drive it
successfully. I just do not want to see the gas truck become extinct, that's

Comments: I would just like to voice my disgust with Associated for not
promoting the GT2 like it should be promoted. It seems to me that the only items
that are being promoted anymore are either 1/8 scale or 1/10 electric (this is
only due to the lipo and brushless technology that everyone is currently
promoting). I understand that an 1/8 scale kit grosses more capital on an annual
basis than a 1/10 scale, but this does not mean that the GT2 should be neglected
the way that it has been. Maybe it is time to revive the gas truck class by
amending the rules so that it is now ROAR legal to run a .18 engine at
sanctioned events.
In the end, what I am getting at here is that I would like to see more coverage
of races that the GT2 is in. I know these are far fewer now than in the past,
but nonetheless the GT2 should be promoted. I know that the ROAR Fuel Truck
Nationals were just held, and I believe that Jared Tebo won with his GT2. So
would it be too difficult to have and in-depth look at his GT2, or will this not
happen either since the race didn't involve and Associated 1/8 scale in any way?
I ate to say this, but Losi does a better job showing race results that showcase
their xxx-nt better than Associated does.
Well, as with anything else, the newer vehicles will get the most
attention. The GT2 has been out for quite some time now and obviously we will
focus our attention what is the current trend. The gas national were just held
and yes, Tebo won, so I am sure we will have something up on our web very soon.

All you need to do is send the engine to the address on the home page and we
will get that checked out for you under warranty, no problem. If defective (we
do know about the bad bushing) the unit will be repaired or replaced at no
charge to you.

RC10 twenty years or so ago. My problem is with the mgt 4.6 it's been broken in
everything was fine well on like my 6-8 tank i shut it down. And when i tried to
run it again it started like a champ but wouldn't move almost like a emergency
brake. I shut it down and it does not roll. When you spin each wheel the other
spins the opposite like its supposed to. Help. Where should i look and is this
common its only had 6-8 tanks.

OK, it sounds like there is a stripped gear inside the transmission that
is locking the tranny up. It will need to be pulled apart to find the damaged
gear or part. Once you find that let us know and we can possibly send the part
out to you.

parts? How can I tell if my car has the old parts? I received it from tower
hobbies about a month ago. I have the ARR not the RTR.
The material in some of the parts was not quite right or not hardened
properly. Appearance remains the same. If you got your kit about a month ago you
have an older kit. Go to our web site (at News > Announcements) and fill out the
form in order to get a service pack sent out to you.

You will want to set the screw flush with the housing and then
counter-clockwise ½ turn.

Running the engine too lean can wear the engine out prematurely. The
pinch test is OK if you have nothing else. I would recommend that you invest in
some sort of temp gauge so you can see how hot the engine is running.

the low-speed needle is 6 turns out...this seems very far and runs very rich on
the low end at this setting. Seems like it should be closer to 3 or 4 turns out.

The low end should be set at 6 ¼ and the high speed at 2 ½. As you break
the engine in you will be leaning out the high speed needle. The idle and
drivability of the buggy will improve as this leaning out process progresses. ***************************************

directly when I lost the shaft and bushing for the starter assembly. You
guys sent me a new one with the brass bushing, and I installed it. I ran
it soon after and noticed the prostart pistol wasn't turning the engine
over. I changed the battery and still no difference. I then thought,
(although unlikely that it might be flooded) I will pull the glowplug
and give it a spin w/o compression. There was some movement, but not
like before the replacement. ...

starting the engine. I read that there was a printing error and that the
correct setting was 4 1/2 instead. After trying 4 3/4, it gave me much
better result than with the 6 1/2 adjustment. Now the engine starts well
but tends to stall at idle speed for more than 5-6 seconds. What do you
suggest? What is the average adjustment for the high? (3 to 3 1/2 ?)

The low speed should actually be set at 6 ¼ turns out and the high set
at 2 ¾ turns out.

Comments: I purchased a new RC8 about a week ago, and upon inspection the center
diff had leaked all over the chassis. Why is this? I am concerned about running
the vehicle as a diff that is properly assembled should not leak,and who knows
if something is damaged from assembly.

unassembled for the Factory Team level.

I would go for the Reedy Wolfpaks, either a 3000 or 3600 mAh battery,
for better voltage and run time.

Comments: is it normal for the c clip in the shock to pop out every time i run
it. it seems that the c clip does not sit in right. is there a replacement clip?
what can i do so the clip dont pop off? I tried filling the shock body less so
it wouldnt be so pressurized. It still pops off.
There are new Factory Team snap rings for the bottom of the shocks now
available - part number #89056, retail cost $2.99 per package. That others to
pop out, no, it would not be normal….if you don’t have the clip fully seated
that could be the cause for it popping out.

our NCT series this summer . Scott Brown and I worked very hard and purchase all
the hop ups offered from Ae.
The MGT`s reliability was so poor I have given up the mission I had in putting a
Ae Monster on the podium.
I have never been more disappointed in a product from Ae .
From the drive cup pins that fail to the heavy weight and poor performance on
the track, customer`s like me are being disappointed ....

Please tell us exactly what happened so we can address your concerns. You are
not giving us enough information to take any action. For instance, you bought
and installed all the hopups. Does that mean you installed all the metal parts?
If so, your truck would be heavier. If you want to race, you need your truck
lighter. You add the metal parts only where you think it will give you an
advantage in the race, not all at once. Plenty of MGTs have earned 1st place
trophies, so go back to stock and start practicing!

yes i was goin easy and yall are sendin me a new part, put i think aluminum will
be stronger, also i noticed that there is servo mounting holes on the other
side, can i mount dual servos? and when are yall gonna make a swaybar kit i see
the mounting holes, and i need it to kill the revo's worse!
There are no plans for aluminum drive cups at the moment. I suppose you
can mount two servos. Keep an eye on your receiver pack as the battery will run
down a lot quicker. Sorry, no sway bars yet. Let’s hope it is soon.

get it to stay running, Tonight I wanted to start tuning but after an hour of
trying to get the engine to keep running, I noticed some fuel/oil under the
engine. I felt around and it is coming from underneath the starter plate. What
should I do about this? or is it normal?
The fuel under the engine very well could be normal due to having the engine so
rich. Once you begin to lean the engine out this should diminish.

runaways, at less then 100 feet it would take off, I put new batteries in it and
checked the crystals, and it happened again, and tested the range and it was
fine, until i drove it, I dont know if the electronics are bad, but im not sure.

about a week ago, every time I U-turn Left the left rear tire falls off. I have
check all the parts but it still happens. What do you think is broken?
Check the spring - it may be broken or worn out and not able to keep the
wheel locked on the axle.

a-arms and not the pre-revision a-arms? I like to stock up on parts.
All the arms in our stock are the new arms. If you order the arms they
will be the new ones.

send in something else showing you have an RC8??
I assume you are talking about obtaining the service pack. If so I am
sorry but yes, you will need the receipt.
