2WD BUGGY MODIFIED, A-MAIN
Mark Pavidis had to make a perfect run in qualifying to take
TQ honors, but he did it. Then in the A-Mains it took the same kind of driving to win the
very competitive 2WD Class. But Mark did it again. It wasn't easy because everyone else
was challenging the pipes. Mark's teammate Billy Easton took a strong 3rd place finish
with his RC10B3 buggy, driving his best race ever. Mark and the rest of the Team used
Reedy Modifieds motors, Reedy Zappers batteries, LRP speed controls, and Pro-Line tires to
get the power to the ground. |
2WD TRUCK MODIFIED, A-MAIN
Scott Hughes (right), Pro-Line/Associated driver, was in a class
by himself in qualifying. He easily outdistanced the field to win TQ honors. Then Scott
won the first A-Main rather easily. But in the 2nd A-Main Mark put the pressure on Scott
and Scott made one small bobble, and Mark got by to take the win. In the deciding 3rd
A-Main Scott decided to put some distance on Mark, but he tried a little too hard and got
stuck on the pipes, and Mark went on by to win the Main and to take the overall win, with
Scott finishing 2nd overall. These two guys were really fast and they put on a great show
for the fans. |
STOCK TRUCK, A-MAIN
Chet Bradley (left) took an 8th place finish in the Stock Truck
A-Main while Josh Knight, from Virginia Beach, VA (second from left), won the A-Main over
a hard charging Kraig Krueger (far fight), in 3rd Place, while Miss Lake Park looks on.
All the drivers used the new Reedy Rage hand-out stock motors and the consensus was they
had more power than they've ever had. |
STOCK BUGGY, A-MAIN
Kraig Krueger, from West Fargo, North Dakota, drove an
error-free race to win the Stock A-Main by a very large margin with his B3 buggy. |
Mike
Reedy was kept very busy keeping the drivers supplies with power, and it was easy to see
that they had all the power they could handle. He even helped a lot of drivers in the
stock class set up their new Reedy Rage hand-out stock motors. Curtis Husting (in back)
was also kept busy helping the drivers.
RACER TIP
Mike Reedy
wants everyone to know that the new Rage stock motor has more RPM, so in order to take
advantage of this added RPM it's very important that you gear down 2 less teeth on your
pinion gear. Then you'll have more power. If you don't gear down then you won't pick up
any more speed and your motor will run hotter. |
