Billy Easton and Team
Associated win the
2001 ROAR Fuel Off Road national Championships
Hemet, Calif.--Team Associated scored a one-two-three sweep of the Gas Truck class at the 2001 ROAR Fuel Off Road Nationals at "The Dirt" in Hemet, California. Billy Easton, mark Pavidis, and Scott Hughes led the field with their Factory Team RC10GT's. All used O'Donnell/Mugen engines. Jared Tebo also placed his RC10GT in the A-Main. Associated GT's led over 95% of the 45-minute race.
Pro-Line tires and their new high-downforce Sierra body were used on all of the Team's trucks.
