1998 12th Annual Cactus Classic

Team Associated RC10B3's TQ's and wins

This annual event in Arizona had over 350 entries. Jim Gard won Top Qualifier honors with his RC10B3 car, and finished 2nd in the A-Main. Scott Hughes took over the lead and went on to win the race with his RC10B3 car. Both drivers used Pro-Line tires, and LRP speed controls. Scott used Reedy motors and batteries, while Jim used Peak power with Orion batteries.
