Associated Nitro Engines

back to Nitro Engines

You can transfer your GT engine to the GT2. Here's how:

—If you have a GT RTR, which has our #2916 AE engine, you'll need our #29006 SG crankshaft to adapt the engine to use on the GT2.

—If you have a threaded crankshaft engine in your GT kit, you'll need the #2312 NTC3 clutch nut to use your engine in a GT2.

—You can use whatever side exhaust style manifold and muffler combination you ran on your old GT, as long as the muffler has a mount on the tip that is compatible with the muffler mount wire on the GT2.

—If your GT motor is side exhaust, it can be used in the GT2 with the proper accompanying hardware (#2312 clutch nut and AE side exhaust manifold: #7735 pullstart or #7736 non-pullstart).

—If your current muffler does not have a mount on it, then you should use the FT blue muffler with the mount on it that comes with the FT GT2.
