PNW Showdown Round 3

Tacoma R/C Raceway in Tacoma, Washington hosted round 3 of the second annual Pacific North West Showdown. Track owner Scott Brown and staff prepped the track and building during the week to set the stage an excellent event.

The Pacific North West Showdown travels to four of the best racing facilities the Northwest has to offer. Round 4 will be held at 4 Seasons R/C Racing in Lacey, WA in February. For more information on the PNW Showdown series please visit: http://www.pnwshowdown.com/

Team Associated vehicles dominated round 3 of the PNW Showdown, taking the win in six of the nine classes. Modified Buggy was dominated by two Team Associated drivers: Luke Smith won the first main and first place overall with his Reedy-powered B4.1 WC, and fellow Team Associated driver John Walentia TQ'd and won the second main, finishing second overall. Luke also took the Modified 2WD Short Course overall with convincing wins in both mains, driving his Reedy-powered SC10. Again, teammate John Walentia TQ'd and finished right behind him in second place.

Team Associated cars also took home the wins in the following classes:

Kyle Schoening drove a very intelligent race and won Stock Buggy with his B4.1 WC.
Mike Brown won 4x4 Short Course.
Patrick Morehead won Stock Truck with his T4.1.
Evan Margeson won Stock SC with his Factory Team SC10.
