The Cabin Fever Indoor Supercross in Lewiston, Idaho is the first big regional 1:8 scale race each year in the Northwest. The track is held in a large horse arena and boasts a size of 115 x 200 feet!

Some of the best racers from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Canada were in attendance. This year there were nearly 300 combined entries, including around 30 entries in both 1:8 Nitro Arena Truck and 1:8 Nitro Buggy Pro - the two classes in which I, Jesse Munn, raced.

1:8 Buggy Pro
This class started out well for me. Driving my RC8.2, I qualified third overall, including a second place finish in the third round.

It wasn't meant to be in the 45-minute main however, as my engine flamed out on the first lap and then three more times throughout the race. I ended up ninth out of the 14 A-Main drivers, but without a doubt could have finished much better if not for mechanical issues.

1:8 Truggy
This was my first time putting my new RC8T CE truck on the track. I ended up qualifying fourth overall after three rounds of qualifying points on Saturday.

On Sunday we lined up for the 30-minute main event and after a great battle with Marcus Anzivino, I ended up winning my first big nitro event! The RC8T worked flawlessly and I couldn't have been happier with it.
