This weekend was the first round of the Swedish cup, which received 74 entries in 2WD and 4WD 1:10 Buggy.

We started with 2WD on Saturday. The B5's went well from the beginning; some on the team ran the B5M. The track is both hard and dusty with very loose material so it was slippery and bumpy. We had the B5 and B5M in the top three for all qualifiers. We drove four qualifiers and two were counted. Niclas Månsson took TQ in all four qualifying rounds. Johnny Sageborn qualified in third place with a B5M and Marcus Lind was fifth with a B5. We placed three B5 cars in the A-final -- it was the first race in Sweden with the B5.

Niclas won the first two finals with the lead from start to finish with his Reedy-powered B5. Marcus Lind had a good race from fifth position and finished third in the race with his B5.

On Sunday for 4WD 1:10 Buggy, we placed two B44.2's in the top three. After that, the competition heated up. Marcus Lind qualified second and Niclas took the third spot, and Johnny Sageborn placed eighth in the final.

In A1, Niclas took second and Marcus Lind, third. A2 went much better; Niclas beat his time in A1. In the end, Niclas won with his Reedy-powered B44.2, and Marcus took third with his B44.2.

Thanks to Niclas Månsson for this race report.
