RC8B3 Wins the Philippine Nitro Challenge

Over the weekend, Dinagat Island in southern Philippines played host to the 2nd Dinagat Island Nitro Challenge. On what is one of the biggest and most difficult tracks in the Philippines, the Associated RC8B3 proved its mettle once again.

Behind the picturesque beaches and lush jungles surrounding the track, the Philippine's top drivers in attendance engaged in a heated race. The CHMXP track (Coconut Hills MotoCross) is a very high-speed track with crazy jumps and an extreme elevation change, so some of the drivers found it quite a challenge to get the car ready with only one day of open practice.

When the dust settled, two Associated RC8B3 Team Kits occupied the podium, with Benjie Ecleo as champion and Nani Tagle taking third, giving Associated its first big win in the latter part of this year's racing season here.
