B6 and B64D at top in the Rumble in the Rockies

The 22nd Annual Rumble in the Rockies was hosted by MHOR R/C Raceway in Aurora, Colorado. The annual event drew 255 entries from Colorado and neighboring states. The event consisted of one qualifier Friday night, three Saturday, and triple-A mains on Sunday. Due to the tight track at MHOR R/C all qualifying is done in a heads-up format, and creates for great racing throughout the weekend.

In qualifying, Reedy/AE driver Dustin Evans went on to TQ three out of four rounds in both the 2WD and 4WD Modified classes. Teammates Kody Numedahl and Zeke Ballinger lined up second and third respectively in Mod 2WD with their Reedy-powered B6s.

Dustin won A1 and A2 of both 2WD and 4WD with his Reedy-powered B6 and B64D to take the overall titles. In 2WD, Zeke finished second and Kody third for a AE/Reedy sweep of the podium. In 4WD, Kody finished second, making it a 1-2 for the new B64D.
