The 5th Annual KO PROPO Grand Prix has been one of the most exciting races held in California. For the first four years it has been hosted at the Tamiya USA Facility in Aliso Viejo CA. This year it was held in one the most beautiful tracks in the country, Speedworld Raceway in Roseville CA.

As a reminder of the famous Reedy Race of Champions, the race had been slightly rained out the night before. While racers came in and filled the pit areas, electric fans were blowing on the track and the sun peeked out of the dark gray clouds up above, hoping for the race surface to dry. Billy Bowerman, track owner, had planned for night racing as the mains ran through the night. No dilemma whatever.

This years spec tire was Jaco Blue Prism wheels and tires. This tire slowed no one down and became a perfect spec tire for racing.

Team Associated Driver Jason "MO" Moberly powered his TC5R for TQ Honors and taking home the win, with Lex Tyler (AE) 2nd and E.J. Evans (T.O.P.) in 3rd. This has been a long-overdue win for Jason Moberly as he ends 2008 with a bang, taking home the victory for AE.
