2024 MEOW Nationals TQ and Win for Reedy Power

This past weekend the 2024 MEOW Nationals returned to Apex Raceway. This is a race designed to give local and regional a good race since they were unable to attend the ROAR Nationals. It brought in racers from the southeast U.S.A., like Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and the Carolinas. This event even had the "gold" cups like the ROAR Nats, but just kitten size. They also did a random lotto where the race promoter gave away some cash. He matched each class with an entry and donated $5 to be put in a pot. Then drew a number.

Reedy Power drivers were on hand to compete in VTA, F1, and USGT. Myron Kinnard and Logan Pilcher ran their Reedy Power vehicles for three qualifiers and single mains. Logan completely dominated in USGT, even setting sub-11-second laps, which had never been done there before. He qualified in VTA in the P3 spot, and after a bad start finished seventh overall.

Myron took his Reedy Power F1 to the TQ spot in round 1 of qualifier, but multiple-Nationals F1 driver John Barron made Myron's run short-lived. John ended up TQ'ing and winning. Myron secured P3 and a third-place finish.

In VTA, Myron was set to show off the Reedy SP5 25.5 stamp A motor and set TQ on every round. He finished with a win.

This was a fun and enjoyable event that's a great option for guys not able to make the BIG Gold cup race. Hopefully this event will grow and be a staple in RC on-road carpet racing.
