In this four-race-long championship, with the three best results to count, Jonas Kaerup showed the most consistency over the duration of the series. Going into the last race this weekend, 2010 National Champion Silas Hoegholdt (Intech/OS) and Jonas Kaerup (AE RC8.2/Novarossi) were only 1 point apart. With 3 points for TQ, the race was on already in qualifying. Despite Jonas winning two out of three rounds of 7-minute qualifying, the TQ went to young Dane Martin Hansen. TQ is decided by adding the two best runs from the 3 rounds, and he led Jonas by less than a second.

Jonas easily won his 20-minute semi-final with his new Team Associated RC8.2, but Martin won his semi with a slightly faster run, and thus those two would start first and second in the 45-minute main. Silas would start the main with his Intech car from third on the grid.

During the A Final, Jonas was leading the first thirty minutes, extending his lead to 16 seconds until he started making mistakes on his own. Luckily the car withstood the punishment, but he was eventually overtaken by Martin, who ran a flawless race.

In the end it was enough for Jonas Kaerup to finish second in the race and thereby win the Danish DRCMU 1:8 scale Championship.

Top 3 in the Championship:
