Biography: Matt Gerald 2-Time World Champion 2nd generation off-road racer from Hortonville, WI. Matt has been a perennial front runner in the TORC series for many years. Racing in several classes over his career including Pro-Light, 1600 Light buggy and now Single Buggy. The team setting their focuses on the Single Buggy championship. In 2015 Matt made his return to racing after a 3-year absence from driving after a devastating crash that nearly left him paralyzed. After countless hours of rehabilitation and strength training Matt was able to make his return and finish 4th in his first race back! The 395 single buggy was able to finish the year with one podium finish and numerous top 5 finishes. MGR ended up 5th in the points standings and plans to build on that and start competing for wins again in 2016.

When not racing, Matt is usually camping and spending time at his family's cabin, which is one of his favorite past times. Matt also volunteers and coach's youth sports Basketball, Football and Baseball for his step son Levi. You can also catch Matt at the R/C track racing his fleet of Team Associated cars. Matt has been an R/C Enthusiast and a loyal driver of Team Associated cars going back to the Factory Team B3. Favorite classes are Mod Buggy, 2wd Short course and 1/8th Scale EBuggy.
