Team Associated/Reedy drivers Masami Hirosaka, Mike Blackstock, and Mike Lufaso battled the other A Main finalists in 1:12 scale. Using their Associated 12L4 Yokomo Specials, they finished first, third and fifth respectively. Congratulations to Masami Hirosaka as he continues to set the record for IFMAR World Championships and to Mike Blackstock and Mike Lufaso for their outstanding performance.

In the Touring Car class, Team Associated /Reedy /LRP driver, Juho Levanen qualified 10th and finished an impressive 5th overall with his brand new RC10 TC4 and Reedy Ti Worlds 8x2. Additionally, Reedy motors powered A Main drivers Masami Hirosaka, Billy Easton, and Juho Levanen. Congratulations to the newly crowned IFMAR ISTC World Champion, Marc Rheinard, and all the other competitors.

Competitors from all over the world traveled to sunny Florida to compete for the World Title in 1:12th Scale and Touring Car. The world-wide Associated race team consisted of the international drivers listed at right.
