This year's Queensland State Titles were held at the Bayside club in the city of Brisbane.

It was a great event for Team Associated with AE's own Andrew Abbott driving his Reedy/LRP-powered TC5 to victory in the Modified Touring Car class. It was a 1-2 for AE with local driver Anthony Atack taking second place with his TC5.

The finals were tight between the top three drivers but Abbott managed to win the first two finals to take the overall victory.

In the stock class Keith Mackrill, also driving a TC5, took top qualifying honours. After a dominant display of winning leg one of the finals he was the firm favourite. But luck was not on his side and had to settle for a valiant 2nd overall after all three finals had been run.

All drivers enjoyed a great weekends racing and the club should be commended for putting on a great show. Congratulations to all those involved!
